:) read Darwins theory of natural selection...that will answer the question.
And the 'creation' premise (assuming that is the premise for believing in an external god) falls apart because i would like to know who created god...is there a supergod...or did god create himself...and so on. :)

who created what will be impossible to know for sure. For me God is manifested everytime one realises what is the right thing to do. Being able to do that, fo rme, is proof enough that there is a higher power.

You put that so well, If we all realized that god is within us then we would behave better. I think if believing there is a god makes you want to live a good life, not hurting others then there is a god.
But God seems to change nothing in our lives... Except maybe the elements that have to do with nature.
Everything that affects us is because of the actions we take. Where is God's place then?

god changes even things within us....when we take a decision lets decide it from the right point of view...that wud be god,..
u know in hinduism i is said that god does everything...he is responsible for every action...good or bad....he is the manipulator the creator the sustainer and the desroyer....god place is in our hearts....wen we realise thats where god is wud we de sanctify it?
we take responsibility for our actions.....if we donbt we will go on blaming god ....and thats we need to find the god within us....we are one with god and god is one with us...
